====Header Bar==== The header bar is at the top of each of your dashboards. ===Name and Navigation=== On the left you'll find the name of the report, and you may also find some navigation options to help you navigate between assets. You can left-click the report name to change it. Clicking on **ARDI** will take you back to the normal ARDI web interface. Clicking on **Search** will allow you to search for other assets to view. Your other navigation options will vary from asset-to-asset, based on their relationships. ===Controlling Time=== The most important controls on the right-hand side of the header are those that control //time//. You can choose a time period from the drop-down list to change the time-frame you're looking at. Note that if you're currently looking at live data, the dashboard will rebuild itself to something more suitable for looking through history (ie, your bar charts will change to line charts.) If you'd like to choose a custom time range, simply click on the text showing the times - you'll then be given the option to choose the exact start and end times for the dashboard to display. ===Controlling Resolution=== The drop-down list that says **Auto** in the image below is used to increase or decrease the resolution of your dashboard. Although 'Auto' is normally fine for regular line charts, you can adjust the number of samples at any time. Certain types of dashboard - particularly x-bar r charts - are designed to summarise data, so work best at low resolutions (only a small number of samples across the X-axis). Others, such as heatmaps, need to show extremely fine detail, and work best at very high resolutions (lots of samples across the X-axis). ===Buttons=== The **Add** button is used to add extra panels to your dashboard. \\ \\ The **Refresh** button re-loads the page. If you hold down //shift// while pushing this button, it will re-generate the page, erasing any of your changes. The **New** button creates a new, empty dashboard, allowing you to create your own using the Add button. The **Detail** button appears on certain reports than can be transformed into different styles. This normally appears on reports showing history.
