====Timeline Graph==== The timeline graph is a graphical representation of the events that happened during your [[time window|time window]]. Unlike the [[event list|event list]], which doesn't give you any idea of when or how often the events occurred, the timeline graph shows each incident. {{:timeline:timeline.png?800|}} ===Event Icons=== There are a number of different icons you might see on the Timeline. ^Symbol^Event^Description^ |{{:timeline:rise.png?50|}}|Rise|A sharp increase in value| |{{:timeline:drop.png?50|}}|Drop|A sharp decrease in value| |{{:timeline:unstable.png?50|}}|Unstable|Sharp increases and decreases| |{{:timeline:peak.png?50|}}|Peak|A peak in value that then returns to normal| |{{:timeline:trough.png?50|}}|Trough|A trough in value that then returns to normal| |{{:timeline:control.png?50|}}|Control|A loss of control| |{{:timeline:misc.png?50|}}|Misc|Unknown or multiple different events| |{{:timeline:pattern.png?50|}}|Pattern|A matched pattern| ===Interacting with the Timeline=== **Hovering** your mouse over any of the icons on the timeline will give you details about what event happened, when, and which assets it happened to. **Left-click** on the icon to lock your tooltip in place - this will let you click on the asset names and event descriptions, so you can see them in the Data Explorer. ===Interacting with the Legend=== At the bottom of the screen are lists of the different properties in your timeline and some of the different types of event. Clicking on the checkboxes will toggle those particular properties or types on and off. This allows you to remove excess noise and focus on specific issues.
