Report Bundles

A bundle is a set of reports that are consolidated into a single file.

Bundling reports together allows you to send them out as routine emails.

Bundles are also available through the web interface - the reporting addon offers the latest version of each bundle as a single PDF file, along with the last several (usually 14) versions of the bundle in the archive section.

To make a bundle, first choose a name for the bundle. This name can represent the user group its for (ie. Engineers) or the kind of content (ie. Condition).

Next, add a file called name.bundle to the subs folder in your report directory.

This is a simple text file and should contain the individual names of the reports you want to bundle together, each on their own line.

The reports will be presented in the order they appear in the file.

For example, creating a file named subs/efficiency.bundle…

temperature_monitoring
power_usage
gas_usage

…would produce a single PDF file containing three reports.

Note that bundles are only created when you send emails.
