Using Asset Lookup Fields

Many ARDI search fields are Asset Lookup Fields

Asset lookup fields support autocompletion – by typing just the first few characters of the name or Equipment Reference Number of an asset, it will go out and try to find suitable matches and suggest them to you.

For example, if you were searching for ‘Unit One Hydraulic Isolator’, just writing ‘Unit One’ would result in the field displaying a list of all instrumentation with ‘Unit One’ in its name. Alternatively, writing 'TR7' (the first three digits of its equipment reference number) would also work well.

Once the correct match is found, simply click on it to accept it.
