Positioning Units

The units of measurement used for positioning your assets in ARDI are arbitrary - they are based on the environment you create.

For example, starting from a photograph will result in you creating an environment measured in pixels, as that how images are sized. So uploading a 300×300 image of your site will result in a site 300 units wide.

For this reason, we suggest uploading 3D models, DXF or SVG files to create your environment. These can be drawn in a range of units (including meters, feet, GPS, UTM or other geographic coordinate systems) that are physically correct.
